FROM THE BOARD - JULY

• Membership stands at 179.
• ;An accounts receivable list was reviewed by the Board. Collection action will begin on past due accounts if payment arrangements not be made by July 31.
• Joseph and Sharon Welch were approved for membership. Freddie Burgess was approved for the social access pass.
• Clubhouse Manager, April Kent, presented a written report for the month of May. May was a busy month with multiple special functions booked in the coming months.
• Golf Pro, Jeff Kent, presented a report for the month of May.
• The Board approved, effective immediately, cart rental of $8 for nine holes and $15 for 18 holes. The fees are comparable for the area.
• The Board approved a Junior Golf access pass for 2010. The pass with allow students 18 and under to play with a relative club member. Those eligible for the pass are grandchildren, nieces and nephews of Club members. Fee is $5 for nine holes and $7 for 18, plus cart rental if applicable. Play may not occur on Wednesday and Sunday morning from 9 to 12, Tuesday and Thursday from 1 to 5 or during any organized golf function/event.
• Corliss Morthland, pool chair, reported that in spite of the rainy weather, volumes are increasing. Members have welcomed the renovations in the ladies’ locker room, the vacuum is working well and the guest policy has resulted in more usage.
• The Board approved Monday, Sept. 13, as a charity event for the Hannibal Nutrition Center.
• A membership outreach committee was formed to seek new members and contact past members. The corporate membership drive is well underway.
